Highlander: The Raven is a spin-off from the television series Highlander: The Series, continuing the saga of the Immortals. The series followed the character of Amanda, an Immortal who had a recurring role in Highlander: The Series. The Raven was a contemporary action hour that weaved a romantic thread through the shows.
It moved final filming entirely to Paris and was produced by Gaumont Télévision and Fireworks Media in association with Davis-Panzer Productions.
It premiered with the run of new shows in September of 1998 and was cancelled in May of 1999.
Raven follows the Highlander bookmark of being seen in 48 languages in 70 countries internationally.
The series ended with Nick being brought over, finding out that now he has to deal with being an Immortal. Amanda told him she knew it from the minute she met him. Killing him over was the only way to save his life. The series ended with Nick as a very troubled man, as he did not want to be an Immortal like Amanda.
